VMUN is proud to offer considerable financial aid for both delegate and school fees, in the form of fee waivers. Please contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions regarding financial aid.
Delegates who are in need of financial aid in order to attend VMUN should submit requests directly to the Secretary-General. All cases are assessed on an individual basis, and generally result in a 25%, 50%, or 75% reduction in delegate costs based on need. VMUN has a very limited number of 100% fee reductions which we are financially able to provide. VMUN strives to ensure that as many delegates as possible are able to access our financial aid program.
Delegates should be prepared to send two (2) documents to request financial aid:
1. A letter outlining your motivation for attending VMUN as well as your need for financial aid.
2. A signed letter from a teacher or administrator at your school commenting on your need.
Once completed, please attach both documents to an email and send your request to email@example.com. You will generally hear back within one week. Please do not submit a registration before you receive a response, as this response will include special instructions regarding how to register.
VMUN hopes that no delegations are barred from attending VMUN due to the conference fees. For this reason we are able to offer financial aid to cover some or all of the teacher chaperone costs. In most cases, this will result in a 50% or 75% reduction in costs, but VMUN also has a limited number of 100% reductions which we are able to award based on need.
